Day 01: Arrive Paro (By Air) - Thimphu (Approx 52Kms & 1:20 Hrs)

Arrival at Paro airport, our representative will meet and greets you, then drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Upon arrive at Thimphu check into your hotel. Early afternoon visit Tashichhoe Dzong and The Memorial Chorten. In the evening stroll around Thimphu town. Overnight is at hotel.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast visit the following as per your interest and time availability, Visit Post office, where one can buy different types of Bhutanese stamps and also make personal Bhutan stamps using their pictures. After that The Folk Heritage Museum, an outdoor museum that gives an insight into rural life in Bhutan. Changankha Lhakhang (temple): This temple situated atop a small hound overlooking the Thimphu valley was built in the 13th century by the illustrious Lam Phajo Dugom Zhigpo. Later on visit Kuenselphodrang, Centenary Farmers' market (if tour coincides with Thu-Sun) and Archery Match (National game of Bhutan). Overnight is at Hotel.

Day 03: Thimphu – Paro (Drive Approx 55 Kms)

Drive to Paro and visit Paro Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese historic architecture. It is also known as the Rinpung Dzong which means a “fortress that sits on a heap of jewels”. This imposing Dzong located above the Paro River is a fine example of Bhutanese architecture with its inward sloping walls that rise to an impressive height. Also visit the National Museum which is now being housed at a hall near the Ta Dzong (National Museum) as it is now closed to the visitors due to major cracks formed during the September 2011 earthquake that hit Bhutan quite hard. Evening at leisure in Paro town center and explore the town. Overnight is at Hotel.

Day 04: Paro: Taktsang Hike

Today you will hike to Taktsang Goempa (Tiger's Nest Monastery), the most famous tourist destination in Bhutan. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the thirteen caves in which he meditated. After visiting the monastery, walk back downhill to the road with lunch at the viewpoint cafeteria. Later visit Kichu Temple, one of the 108 temples built in the 7thcentury by the Tibetan King Songsten Gampo. Overnight is at Hotel.

Day 05: DEPARTURE PARO

After breakfast you will be transferred to Airport to connect your flight to onward destination.

Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha (Drive Approx 80Kms & 2:30 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the Dochula Pass. Visit the beautiful 108 Chortens built on the hill by Her Majesty Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck and later drive onto Punakha. Stop at Lobesa to visit the Devine Madman's Monastery – Chhimi Lhakhang, famously known for its fertility shrine, where couples unable to conceive come here for blessing. Later visit the Punakha Dzong placed strategically at the junction of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. Overnight is at Hotel.

Day 04: Punakha Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the Khamsum Yuley Temple. This is a great temple to study the symbolic meanings from frescoes and sculptures. After Lunch visit the Punakha suspension bridge which is considered as the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan. Later visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery. Overnight is at Hotel.

Day 05: Punakha – Paro (Drive Approx 120 Kms & 3:30 Hrs)

Post breakfast transfer to Paro via Thimphu. Post lunch at Thimphu, visit the Paro Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese historic architecture. In the evening stroll around the Paro town, free mingle with people and do shopping. Overnight is at Hotel.

Day 06: Paro: Taktsang Hike
