Day 1: Arrival Delhi (By Flight)

Arrive at Delhi airport; get an assisted transfer to the Oberoi hotel, where you are going to enjoy a luxurious stay amidst world-class luxuries. Overnight stay is at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi – Agra (By Train)

Early morning after breakfast board the luxurious Maharajas s' Express at Delhi. The train will proceed to Agra. Pay a visit to the splendid Agra Fort. Lunch & dinner on boards the train. Overnight stay onwards the train.

Day 3: Agra – Ranthambore (By Train)

Deboard the Maharajas s' Express to marvel at the Taj Mahal in the early morning hours. After exploring the white-marble epitome of love, continue to an exclusive venue for breakfast. Later get back to the train as it proceeds to Sawai Madhopur. After lunch at one of the lavish restaurants onboard, disembark for safari in the Ranthambore National Park. Dinner onboard as the train proceeds to Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur – Bikaner (By Train)

After breakfast aboard, disembark to visit the Amber Fort of Jaipur. Return to train for a sumptuous lunch. In the evening, you will be taken to an exclusive venue for dinner. Overnight stay aboard as train proceeds to Bikaner.

Day 5: Bikaner – Jodhpur (By Train)

Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast onboard. After a delightful lunch in the train, disembark for a visit to the Junagarh Fort. An exclusive bar-be-cue is planned for evening on the golden sand dunes. Return to the train for overnight stay as train proceeds to Jodhpur.

Day 6: Jodhpur – Udaipur (By Train)

Start the day with a hearty breakfast on board. The day is free for your leisurely pursuits on the train. After a delightful lunch, deboard the train. Leave for a visit to the mighty Mehrangarh Fort and a walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market. Dinner is scheduled at an exclusive venue. Stay overnight on the train as it makes way towards Udaipur.

Day 7: Udaipur – Mumbai (By Train)

Start the day with breakfast aboard. Later, proceed for a boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit to City Palace. Rest your feet and treat your taste buds with lunch at an exclusive venue. Return to the train for leisurely evening. Dinner and overnight onboard on train proceeds to Mumbai.

Day 8: Mumbai – Departure (By Flight)

After a hearty breakfast onboard, bid farewell to the Maharajas s' Express as the journey ends in Mumbai. Pickup and transfer to Mumbai airport to talk flight back to your next destination.

Day 1: Arrival Delhi (By Flight)

Day 2: Delhi - Sawai Madhopur (By Train)

After breakfast live at your own leisure or activities. Evening assemble at the railway station by 1700Hrs. to complete the registration process and check in formalities for your Indian Odyssey journey, as you receive a traditional Indian welcome and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink. After completion of all formalities, you will be shown to your delightful cabins. As you settle in, the Deccan Odyssey shall depart Delhi for Sawai Madhopur. Dinner is on boards in Deccan Odyssey.

Day 3: Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore National Park - Agra (By Train)

Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan is the alighting point for the famous Ranthambore National Park. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before you set out for your village safari. When you’re done with the village safari, return to the comfort of the Deccan Odyssey. Enjoy a leisurely lunch before you set out for a game drive. Ranthambore is home to several other species as well; you can see herds of Chital and Sambar deer as well as wild boar, Nilgai antelope and chinkara gazelles. After a fulfilling afternoon, proceed for high tea at the Sawai Madhopur Lodge. After high tea, it is time to head back to the Deccan Odyssey with a drink before dinner on board, as the Deccan Odyssey sets off for Agra, the city of the world famous “Taj Mahal” Overnight is on Deccan Odyssey.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur (By Train)

Arrive at Agra, after leisurely breakfast on board visit the Taj Mahal, which was Emperor Shah Jahan’s gift of love to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Thereafter proceed to Agra Fort, another outstanding example of Mughal architecture, and the seat of Mughal reign and administration for three generations. After lunch, continues visit Itimad-ud-Daulah, a marble mausoleum built by Nur Jahan, the wife of Emperor Jahangir, in memory of her father, Ghiyas Beg. Late evening, return to Deccan Odyssey for dinner and your onward journey to Jaipur. Overnight is on Deccan Odyssey.

Day 5: Jaipur – Udaipur (By Train)

Legendary for the triumphs of its proud Rajputs, Jaipur, the City of Victory, is surrounded by the rugged Aravali hills - crowned by formidable forts - and beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens. After breakfast you drive to the Amber Fort that overlooks the beautiful Maota Lake. En-route to Amber Fort visits the Palace of Winds, otherwise known as the Hawa Mahal. Thereafter you will visit the famous City Palace of Jaipur, an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways. After your full day of delving in the royal past of Jaipur you will return to the Deccan Odyssey for dinner on board as it departs for Udaipur. Overnight is on Deccan Odyssey.

Day 6: Udaipur – Vadodara (By Train)

The Deccan Odyssey rolls into Udaipur in the morning. Enjoy your breakfast as you admire the picturesque landscape of the Aravali hills. You will then disembark to visit the famous City Palace. Later, board a ferry to ride on Lake Pichola to reach Jagmandir, a 17th century Palace located on an island on the picturesque lake, for an exquisite lunch. As we walk along on the serpentine narrow streets, the place gives us the opportunity to see the shops selling spices, tea, bamboo baskets, flowers, sweets and other household items. Thereafter you return to the Deccan Odyssey for a relaxed evening and dinner as we depart for Vadodara. Overnight is on Deccan Odyssey.

Day 7: Vadodara – Aurangabad (By Train)

Today you arrive at the capital of the Gaekwads, Vadodara, located along the seasonal river Vishwamitri. Breakfast on board the Deccan Odyssey and rest of the morning is at leisure. Post early lunch, you will disembark and proceed to visit Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the only complete and unchanged pre-Mughal Islamic city in India. Drive back to the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, originally constructed as a school for the Maharaja's children. Enjoy high tea at the Laxmi Vilas Palace, built in 1890, and the residence of the Royal family even today. Witness a folk performance typical of the region as you savor some of the special delicacies from the Royal kitchen. Return to the Deccan Odyssey for dinner as it pulls out for Aurangabad. Overnight is on Deccan Odyssey.

Day 8: Aurangabad – Mumbai (By Train)

Breakfast on board the Deccan Odyssey and rest of the morning is at leisure. Later, as you savor lunch, the Deccan Odyssey arrives at Aurangabad, from where a scenic drive takes you to the Ellora Caves, carved into the side of a basaltic hill 30 km from the city. The most remarkable is the Kailash temple, meant to be a replica of Shiva’s celestial abode on Mt. Kailash. It is the best example of rock cut architecture and an engineering marvel. After exploring Ellora, return to the Deccan Odyssey for dinner as it pills out for Mumbai. Overnight is on Deccan Odyssey.

Day 9: Mumbai Departure (By Flight)

Early this morning, after breakfast, you will disembark at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, Mumbai. Pickup and transfer to Mumbai airport to talk flight back to your next destination.
